Market Research Restaurant revisits have grown strongly year by year
Over the last five years – year by year – visits to restaurants across the BIG 5 Western European countries have not only been growing constantly, consumers’ revisit intention has also been growing strongly over these years. Whilst in 2015 57% of all customers mentioned after the visit that they will definitely come back in the next four weeks, this has been growing to 60% in the Year 2019. The statement that consumers “will definitely come back” is – however – different from one country to another. In the more Northern countries (Germany and GB) it is just a little over 50%. In the more Southern countries (France, Spain, Italy) it is close to two third.www.npdgroup.com
