Over the past four years, people were more and more willing to try out new places in the foodservice industry. From 2016 to 2019, the number of visits to places that people had not been to before grew by more than one full percentage point. By country, consumers in France and Italy were most open to trying new things. Germany and Spain are somewhere in the middle and Brits tend to be the most loyal group of customers sticking most to places they have been before.
