New Head of Brand takes up service

Since August 1, Burger King Germany has a new brand specialist: Danny Wilming is the new Head of Brand. He is responsible in particular for Burger King's external communication and positioning. He reports to Klaus Schmäing, Director Marketing at Burger King Deutschland GmbH.

"With around 10 years of international professional experience in the field of product and brand management, he will continue to strengthen and expand the Burger King brand in Germany in his new position as brand strategist," says a company statement.

"It is a particular pleasure for me in my new role as Head of Brand to have the opportunity to further positively manage and strengthen the brand image of Burger King with a cross-product and cross-channel external positioning. As a constantly changing industry, system gastronomy is a particularly exciting working environment. This offers many opportunities to further and sustainably establish Burger King as a consumer brand through innovative communication strategies," says Wilming.

Carrot restations: FMCG and NGO

As a graduate marketer, Danny Wilming brings extensive and relevant experience in product and brand management. Throughout his career he has gained brand experience in the FMCG sector for well-known international brands such as Colgate-Palmolive. Most recently, he was Chief Communications Officer for the brand and communications strategy of an NGO in East Asia. In a leading position, he proved to be an important source of inspiration and Danny Wilming will continue to drive forward strategic brand communication at Burger King.
