Sales double within two years

The burger and delivery specialist burgerme was able to push its total sales across Germany by 33 million euros to 86 million euros last year - that means an increase of over 62 percent.

The enormous increase is the result of new openings and the steady growth in business at existing stores. In the Top 100 ranking of Germany's largest gastro companies, burgerme jumps up 15 places and now already occupies 28th place, and twelfth place in the Quick Service segment.

"Our growth is sustainable. We owe this to the excellent work of our franchise partners. Year after year, they achieve growth in their burger stores and thus continue to drive burgerme forward with their success. We are proud of this year's Top 100 result, we will consistently continue on our path," says burgerme CEO Jens Hochhaus.

The goal for 2022: over 200 stores across Europe. In Germany, the target is 100 million in sales and a top ten position in the ranking. "That's absolutely realistic," Hochhaus continues, "we have a big advantage over other franchise systems: Each location has a defined delivery radius so that we can always deliver quickly and freshly. Thus, several locations can cover a city without competing with each other." That's why there are already two or more stores in many medium-sized cities, and even ten each in Hamburg and Munich.
