In the first half of 2022, California-based premium burger brand Carl's Jr. has opened ten new restaurants in Europe - from Spain to Turkey. Another ten are to follow by the end of the year. Over the next three years, the company aims to double its current 75 restaurants across Europe.
"It is very important to us to maintain close contact with our franchise partners in each restaurant and to make a difference together: Sponsoring local initiatives is just as much a part of this as supporting aid projects. In this way, we want to give something back to the communities in which we operate. This also includes cooperating with local producers wherever possible," says Tim Lowther.
In Spain, Carl's Jr.'s Spanish master franchisee, Avanza food, will partner with local meat producers in the future. CKE Restaurants Holdings will continue to partner with its franchise partners in each market to find effective local solutions.
