Corona leads to inventiveness: "If the customers can't come to us, we'll just go to them," says the CEO of the Block House Group, Stephan von Bülow, and opens a pop-up store in Hamburg with his team.

If you want to take premium-quality steaks straight home with you, this is the right place to go: the first Block House pop-up store "GenussWelt: Steaks & more" has opened in the Alstertal-Einkaufszentrum (AEZ) in Hamburg's Poppenbüttel district.

Customers have the opportunity to experience the entire Block House world under one roof from November 29, 2020 until June 30, 2021.

"With the Block House pop-up store we are creating a new shopping experience for our customers - the world's first block-up store, so to speak", explains Bastian Beie, Managing Director of Block Handels GmbH with a wink. "The opening fits in perfectly with the Advent Season, when people like to spend time with their families over a good meal. For over 50 years, our restaurants and popular specialities have also meant a piece of home for many Northern Germans. Our pop-up store is designed to convey exactly this feeling."

Lunch menus as well as meat

On 80 square meters, customers can choose from a range of 136 products. "Steaks & more": The range naturally includes premium steaks in various cuts, dry aged steaks, block burgers, dressings, spices, side dishes and lunchtime menus, as well as the Blockbräu beer and wines. In addition to restaurant vouchers, there are also high-quality knife sets, cutting boards and grill gloves.
