Coffee Fellows
Coffee Fellows presents all projects in its first sustainability report.

The coffee bar chain has compiled all its sustainability projects and published them in a volume.

Three projects are particularly close to the hearts of company founders Kathrin and Stefan Tewes:

1. The plastic-free coffee cup: Together with the supplier, Coffee Fellows has developed and introduced the first to-go cup without a plastic inner coating. The cup is compostable and can be disposed of in waste paper. In nature, the cup decomposes within a few weeks and can therefore also go into the compost at home. Currently, Coffee Felows is the only coffee bar brand that is supplied by the manufacturer.

2. The coffee purchasing project "from farm to cup": For several years Coffee Fellows has implemented purchasing directly in the growing countries.

3. The Reforest project in Malawi: Every year, the coffee bar brand has to reforest 13 hectares of rainforest to make the system CO2-free. In the launch year 2020, it has already succeeded. The bigger Coffee Fellows grows, the more forest the company will reforest.

Coffee Fellows currently has 222 shops across Germany and a further 21 coffee bars abroad.
