The UK Compass Group is appointing Ian Meakins as non-executive chairman and director of the company, the group has announced. He will join the Board in early September and will take over as Chairman on 1 December 2020 when Paul Walsh retires.

and is non-executive chairman of electrical engineering wholesaler Rexel SA

In January 2020, the company announced that Walsh would step down as Chairman and Director of the company and would not seek re-election at the 2021 AGM.
