The international industry event and think tank European Foodservice Summit (EFSS) 2021 will take place on 7 and 8 October at the Gottlieb Duttweiler Institute in Rüschlikon, Zurich. On stage, August Lund will talk about his journey from investment banker to investor with a focus on sustainability and climate protection.
August Lund is an economist, consultant and principal investor focused on climate change. After graduating from the University of Copenhagen and Cornell University, Lund moved to London in 2003 where he was a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs. Since returning to Copenhagen in 2014, August Lund has invested in the F&B industry, restaurants, hotels and real estate, as well as renewable energy, reforestation and sustainable coffee bean production.
