Tackling Climate Change - Bite by Bite

  • Driving the Climate Positive Agenda
  • Role Model for Responsible Business

Richard Bergfors has been CEO of Max Burgers since 2002. He is co-owner of the family business, which was founded by Richard's parents in 1968. Max says it aims to become the best burger chain in the world by serving the tastiest burgers and doing good for society. Back in 2008, Max began climate labelling its menu and offsetting all emissions throughout the value chain. Since 2018, Max's food offering has been climate positive. This means that the company offsets more greenhouse gases than it emits.
