The European Foodservice Summit (EFSS) will again feature top topics and speakers in 2022 from September 20 to 22. The focus is on restaurant and food tech, M&A, sustainability and highly topical issues such as inflation, supply chains and staff shortages. On the panel: high-profile international speakers like Summit co-founder David Bosshart.
Europe is above all Soft Power: Lifestyle with great urban spaces, phantastic museums, elegant parks and trees, gorgeous shopping, gastronomic adventures, lovely bars, mythic brands, the most attractive football, and all guaranteed in freedom and with democratic institutions. The U.S. and China are moving towards Smart Power first: Artificial Intelligence, Platforms, Persuasion with Social Media. Add to that crypto and Web3. And Russia and China are teaching us that Hard Power - military enforcement - is coming back into the world of generous lifestyles. The militarization of data and information unfolds its mysteries. And changes our minds and attitudes.
What does that mean for our ever more interconnected economy, society, and our businesses? Will a world of cooperation and collaboration move towards a world of political rivalry, tough firewalls, and anarchy? Can our lifestyles prevail? Will Europe with its great Soft Power prevail? Who are our leaders of tomorrow?
For over 20 years, the European Foodservice Summit has been a highly regarded international industry event and networking platform. The conference is organized by foodservice Europe & Middle East, a trade magazine published by dfv Mediengruppe, and the Gottlieb Duttweiler Institute.
Our participants and target audience are the key players (entrepreneurs/senior management) in the foodservice industry. A limited number of places are available for suppliers and consultants.
The number of participants is limited to 250 to keep the atmosphere intimate.
The evening get-together on September 20 is a great opportunity to meet, share ideas and network!
