David Henkes, Senior Principal and Head of Strategic Partnerships at Technomic

Technomic produces in-depth research focused on the foodservice industry. The company provides insights into consumer, industry and menu trends in the U.S., Canada and 23 countries around the world.

Since joining the firm in 1996, Dave has conducted and managed a wide variety of engagements across the global foodservice industry and has worked with clients in North and South America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia. He oversees the firm’s Beverage Practice and has worked in nearly every vertical within the broader food industry. Before joining Technomic, Dave honed his international food experience working with Nestle Germany in Frankfurt and was employed as a federal investigator in Washington, DC.

The European Foodservice Summit is a well-established, highly appraised international industry event and networking platform. The conference is organized by the trade journal foodservice Europe & Middle East of the dfv media group and the Gottlieb Duttweiler Institute.

Our participants and target group are the main players (entrepreneurs/senior management) of the multi-unit restaurant and catering industry. For suppliers and consultants a limited number of seats is available.

The number of participants is limited to 250, to keep the atmosphere intimate.

The event kicks off on 20 September with an evening get-together - plenty of opportunity to meet, exchange ideas and network!

Due to Covid, in 2021, the EFSS took place at the Gottlieb Duttweiler Institute in Zurich. The number of participants was limited to 150. In 2022, the event will be back in full size at its original location, the Lakeside, on the shores of Lake Zurich.
