Interior designer Paola Navone plays in the field of tension between Dante's Inferno and Paradiso and gives the new house her own design signature.
The 25hours Hotel Piazza San Paolino is centrally located in the heart of Florence in the Santa Maria Novella district and offers 171 rooms.
25hours Hotels will open its first hotel in Italy at the beginning of September. The 25hours Hotel Piazza San Paolino is centrally located in the heart of Florence in the Santa Maria Novella district. It is located in the former premises of a bank as well as a former monastery. There are 66 rooms here, and another 104 rooms are available in a new annex. In addition, the Casetta del Giardino can be booked for overnight stays, a small apartment with a private garden and pool.
The design of the hotel, for which Milanese Paola Navone is responsible, was inspired by Dante's Divine Comedy and is full of allusions to this work: scenes from Hell and Paradise alternate playfully.
The gastronomic centre of the hotel in the historic Palazzo is the San Paolino restaurant with Italian regional cuisine
under a large glass dome. Surrounding it are a courtyard garden, a classic Negroni bar and a typical alimentari, a grocery store with a small selection of drinks and food, appropriate to the time of day.
The 25hours Hotel Company was founded in 2005 by Stephan Gerhard, Ardi Goldman, Christoph Hoffmann and Kai Hollmann and today operates twelve hotels in German-speaking countries and in Paris. Another opening is scheduled for 2021: the 25hours Hotel One Central in Dubai. Further hotels are planned in Copenhagen, Sydney and Melbourne. Since 2016, the 25hours Hotel Company has been working in a strategic alliance with Accor. Europe's largest hotel group holds a 50 percent stake in the hotel group.
