The Meyer Quick Service Logistics GmbH & Co. KG (QSL) and Pizza Hut have agreed to continue their cooperation in managing the supply chain for the Quick Service restaurants.
In connection with the contract extension, the owner-managed logistics company headquartered in Friedrichsdorf near Frankfurt am Main is expanding the warehouse locations for the fast-casual chain from one to two sites. "This will enable us to present the supply chain more economically with fewer shuttle connections and therefore more environmentally friendly overall," explains QSL Managing Director Florian Entrich.
"We are proud that Pizza Hut has signed a five-year contract with us for the third time. This underlines the confidence that by working with us we will be able to continue to grow in the strong German market", said Entrich.
The logistics provider takes over the procurement, bundling and storage of goods as well as the delivery to the restaurants from the customer. This allows Pizza Hut to concentrate fully on its core business. QSL supplies a total of 88 restaurants in Germany with the striking red logo.
