Truman's Social Club is a new beer hall plus cultural centre in the heart of Blackhorse Lane in Walthamstow, East London. The opening was on October 29, 2020.
The traditional beer brand wants to celebrate the history of East London with the beer hall - to which Truman's has belonged for more than 350 years - and bring the population together. The almost 2,500 square metres of
space can accommodate 700 guests.
Truman's is set to become London's largest beer hall
and will house an event room, street food suppliers, a beer garden and a day café. The brewery, which has its headquarters in Walthamstow, wants to work with local companies to achieve this.
There will be a selection of up to 20 beers from Truman's and guest breweries, as well as a changing line-up of renowned foodie destinations such as Zero Sushi and Last Night A Vegan Saved My Life.
Opening in times of Corona
The room has been specifically designed to meet current social distance requirements - with additional measures
such as maximizing ventilation and minimizing customer contact points, so that people feel they are in a safe, comfortable and relaxing environment. Truman's Social Club will be open all day, seven days a week.
