Since last year, there have been speculations in the industry as to when the Germany-based restaurant chain L'Osteria would bring a new majority shareholder on board. One that would drive the expansion of the successful pizza and pasta chain forward. Founders Friedemann Findeis and Klaus Rader took their time in the search. Now they have found what they were looking for. The new majority shareholder, who is putting a three-digit million sum on the table for his stake, is an old acquaintance in the foodservice world.
