Expansion plans for street food format

The first stack opened in Newcastle. The location had to close in the meantime. According to th operators, plans are currently being finalised for a new permanent stack to return to the city.

Danieli Group, operator of Stack Seaburn in Sunderland and founder of the meanwhile closed Stack Newcastle, has revealed a plan to bring its stack brand to two sites in County Durham. The Group has submitted a planning application to convert the former Marks & Spencer store at Silver Street, Durham into a stack leisure operation. And at the same time it has also unveiled a project at Newgate Street, Bishop Auckland, after being appointed a development partner by Durham County Council.
