Nicolai Squarra will manage the event catering brand of Swiss SV Group Dine & Shine in a newly founded GmbH.
Event catering at highest levels – the core of the Swiss SV Group brand "Dine & Shine". Now it has been sold to its former managing director Nicolai Squarra. After a strategic review of its portfolio, the SV Group has decided to part with the noble brand built up over the past years.
As of September 1, the business was spun off into a separate company. The owner of the new Dine & Shine GmbH
is the former managing director Nicolai Squarra, partner of JED Event.
According to its own information, the SV Group
does not hold any shares in the new company, but will remain a strategic partner of
the new company.
Corporate events, trade fair catering, public and sporting events are part of the portfolio of the brand, which has
stood for extraordinary food concepts
and large formats since 2005
. Pop-ups at unusual and exclusive locations
are also one of the specialities of the event caterer with its own creative kitchen in Urdorf, not far from Zurich.
Nicolai Squarra used to be managing director of Dine & Shine until his move into self-employment in September 2020. The manager has excellent industry knowledge and resource in a large network. The experienced team of 25 permanent employees is to be retained. All existing employment contracts will be taken over by the new GmbH.
