A new partner for the Lieferando challenger: The Finnish delivery service Wolt and Fritternwerk are cooperating in Germany. At the start, the service will initially be available in Cologne, Berlin and Frankfurt am Main. An expansion to other cities is already planned and should take place soon, Wolt informs.

With this cooperation, Wolt is taking the next step in its growth and expanding its offering to include a well-known restaurant chain. "We aim to score with an appealing restaurant selection, fast deliveries and smooth customer service. Our aim here is always to have the best restaurants in town on our platform. Frittenwerk can't be missing here, as the restaurant chain known throughout Germany is synonymous with fresh and honest food," says Patrick Dümer, Germany head of Wolt.

Frittenwerk expands delivery business

Customers can order from Frittenwerk via the Wolt app and either pick up the food themselves or have it delivered by Wolt couriers. With Wolt, Frittenwerk is relying on a strong and strategically important partner to successfully continue the ongoing expansion of its delivery business in Germany.

"The past few months have shown: Fries, too, can be a first-class delivery product - if only they are packed and handled correctly. In Wolt, we have found a refreshing partner for this, who will bring our street food to the streets and to our guests' homes. We are very much looking forward to having Wolt at our side for the launch in three cities - hopefully soon in even more locations", emphasizes Maurice Sommer, Operations Manager of Frittenwerk.

After entering the German market in Berlin, Wolt is now also available in Munich, Hanover and Frankfurt am Main, in addition to Cologne. Currently, the company is present in more than 180 cities in 24 countries. Further cities are to be added to the list of new locations soon.
